What Happened – The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe Chapter 1
Four siblings named Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are sent to live in the countryside. They stay at the house of an old Professor. The house is large and full of interesting rooms. One rainy day, the children decide to explore the house. They play a game of hide-and-seek. Lucy hides in a wardrobe in a spare room.
She moves through the coats and finds herself in a snowy forest. Lucy is surprised to see a lamppost in the forest. She meets a faun named Mr. Tumnus. Mr. Tumnus invites Lucy to his home for tea. Lucy accepts and goes with him. They talk and have tea and cake together.
Mr. Tumnus tells Lucy that she is in a land called Narnia. He also shares that Narnia is ruled by the White Witch, who makes it always winter and never Christmas. Mr. Tumnus becomes upset. He admits that he is supposed to kidnap Lucy for the White Witch. Lucy comforts him, and he decides to let her go.
